Display & Screen
Why are there bubbles on my screen?
Our product has a layer of plastic protective film applied to the screen during manufacturing, which can be peeled off.
My screen is displaying visual glitches. What should I do?
Please first try replacing the SD card and restarting the device. If the issue persists, the display flex cable may have been affected by moisture. Please clean the display flex cable with alcohol. If the issue is caused by physical pressure damage to the screen, the display or the entire device will need to be replaced.
My screen won’t turn on. What should I do?
Please check whether the power indicator light turns on. Charge the device for about 30 minutes and check if the battery is damaged.
- If the light turns on after charging, the battery is functioning properly, and the issue may be with the screen.
- If the light does not turn on, try removing the back cover, disconnect the battery, and connect the charging cable.
- If the light turns on and the screen powers up, the problem is with the battery.
If the screen still does not turn on, the motherboard may be faulty, although battery issues cannot be completely ruled out.
If the power indicator lights up, the motherboard should be fine, and the issue is likely with the screen. Try reconnecting the display flex cable.
If the problem persists after ruling out the motherboard and battery, please contact us via email.
My device screen turns off at certain angles, but turns back on when the lid is folded to around 30°. What should I do?
Please open the back cover of your device and check whether the magnet inside the hinge has fallen out. If the magnet has come loose, simply place it back into its original position and the issue should be resolved.
If the magnet is still in place and the problem persists, please contact our support team for further assistance.
There is a small gap at the seam of my device's screen casing, which lets some light leak through. How can I fix this?
This issue can sometimes occur due to slight misalignment of the screen frame during assembly or use.
Suggested solution:
First, please try the following method:
Carefully press along the edge of the screen frame, starting from an area where there is no light leakage, and gradually move toward the area where the light is leaking. This helps gently realign the frame into place. Please repeat this process several times. Moderate pressure may be applied, but please take care not to damage the screen.
If the issue persists:
If pressing does not resolve the issue, you may try the following:
- Remove the screws located around the screen area (These screws are covered with silicone screw caps)
- Carefully remove the screws and separate the shells of the device
- Reposition and properly align the screen
- Reassemble the device and ensure all screws and covers are securely installed
Please proceed carefully during disassembly to avoid any damage.

The system shows games normally, but when I try to start a game, it returns to the menu or shows “Loading” and exits. What should I do?
This issue is usually related to the SD card or system files.
In most cases, the games appear correctly, but the system cannot load them properly due to SD card corruption, incompatibility, or incomplete system installation.
Please try the following steps:
- Use a new, properly working and readable SD card
- Format it to FAT32
- Install the official Miyoo system firmware onto the new card
- Reinsert the card and test again
Additional notes:
- Do not use unknown or low-quality SD cards
- Avoid copying files directly from a potentially corrupted card
- Reinstalling the official system often resolves this issue

Battery & Power
My device won’t charge. What should I do?
- This may be a system display delay issue. Please restart the device and try refreshing.
- Do not use a Type-C to Type-C charging cable, and avoid using high-power chargers.
- Fully drain the battery until the device cannot power on, then charge it for about 30 minutes and check if it can turn on.
If it powers on, the battery is functioning normally.
If it still does not power on, remove the back cover, disconnect the battery, and connect the charging cable.
If the power indicator lights up and the screen turns on, the issue is with the battery.
If the device still does not turn on, the motherboard may be faulty, though a battery issue cannot be completely ruled out. If this occurs, please contact us via email.
Why won't my device charge while in standby mode?
We recommend charging your device while it is fully powered off, as this helps prevent potential damage to the battery or the motherboard.
How can I tell if my charging issue is caused by the battery or the motherboard?
If your device is experiencing charging issues, you can follow the steps below to help identify whether the problem is related to the battery or the motherboard:
Step-by-step check:
- Power off the device completely
- Carefully remove the battery from the device
- Connect the device to a power source using a charging cable (without the battery installed)
- Try to power on the device
Result interpretation:
- If the device powers on normally:

This suggests that the issue may be related to the motherboard or internal hardware.
Important Notes
- Please perform this test carefully to avoid damaging the device
- Make sure you are using a working charging cable and power source

Hardware & Controls
Why can't I insert the SD card into my device, and why does it keep ejecting?
Try using your fingernail or a similar small, firm object to push the SD card into the slot. Make sure to push it all the way in until it clicks into place. Using fingers alone may not provide enough force or precision to properly seat the card.
My buttons or joystick are not working properly.
Please:
- From the main page, go to Settings (on the far right).
- Select Calibration to recalibrate your joystick.
- Select Key Map to reset button assignments.
After completing these steps, the buttons and joystick should function normally.
My SD card cannot be inserted into the device. What should I do?
When inserting the SD card into the slot, please use your fingernail or a thin object to gently push the card further in. Simply pressing it with your finger may not be sufficient.
When the SD card is properly inserted, you should hear a clear “click” sound, which indicates that it is securely in place.
My device’s button is stuck. What should I do?
Please first go to Hardware Test in the settings and check whether there is any response.
If there is a response, the button itself is not faulty. You can try disassembling the device and adjusting the corresponding rubber pad under the button.
